APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

The objects of the organisation are:

  • Provide a point of contact to support veterans seeking welfare, well-being, health or mental health assistance as a result of their military service.

  • Work with groups or agencies who assist veterans struggling with homelessness, isolation or substance abuse.

  • Assist families to enable them to better support and understand their veterans’ needs.

General meetings are held every three months (or as needed). An email list is used to keep members informed of upcoming meetings and activities, as well as via the Phoenix Social Club Facebook page.

Membership is open to those who agree to participate in a non-aggressive, pro-active group for the ongoing promotion of the Objects (above) in accordance with the organisation’s Model Rules of Association and Code of Conduct on payment of a fee of $100 per annum for Ordinary members and $40 for Associate members. Fees are renewed 28 February.
